NEXT STEPS

Join a team

Everybody gets to play.

Church works best when we work together. You don’t need to know exactly where you fit, and you definitely don’t need to arrive as an expert. Our teams are places to get to know people and help make Vineyard25 what it is!

Have a look through the teams below. If something catches your attention, get in touch and we can help you work out your next step.

People helping prepare a Vineyard25 gathering.

Setup & Hosting

Turn an ordinary room into a place people can call church.

There is a surprising amount that happens before and after a Sunday gathering. This team helps set up the main room and kids rooms, make coffee, put out snacks, keep things tidy and pack everything away again afterwards.

It is practical, sociable and one of the easiest teams to get stuck into without needing any specialist experience.

People welcoming others at Vineyard25.

Welcome

Help someone’s first few minutes feel easy.

Our Welcome team covers everything from car-park hosting to being a friendly face at the door. It is about noticing people, saying hello and helping newcomers work out where to go without making a fuss.

If you enjoy meeting people and can offer a genuine smile, you already have most of the qualifications.

Children and families at Vineyard25.

Kingdom Kids

Help children discover that church is for them too.

Our Kids teams create safe, fun spaces where children can make friends, worship, hear Bible stories and grow in faith.

There are opportunities to lead, help, play, encourage and simply be another trustworthy adult who helps children feel at home.

Young people at Vineyard25.

Youth

Create space for teenagers to belong, ask questions and grow.

Our Youth team works with young people in Years 7–13, both during Sunday gatherings and through midweek Youth Hangouts.

Sunday sessions mix games, conversation, teaching and space to explore what living a Christian life in today’s world actually looks like.

Midweek Hangouts create more time for friendships to grow and are our youth version of a Home Group.

You do not need to have all the answers. Being consistent, interested in young people and willing to listen matters enormously.

Worship at a Vineyard25 Sunday gathering.

Worship

Use your musical gifts to help our church worship together.

Singers and musicians make up our worship bands, with worship leaders supporting Sunday mornings, Kids groups and Home Groups wherever possible.

The normal way into the team is through the V25 Worship Course. This gives you a chance to explore Vineyard worship theology, develop your skills, learn how to play alongside others and work out whether joining a Sunday team is the right next step.

Technology supporting a Vineyard25 Sunday gathering.

Sunday Tech

Help everything people see and hear on Sundays work smoothly.

Our Tech teams look after sound, projection and the other technology behind our Sunday gatherings.

You absolutely do not need to arrive knowing how everything works. Training is practical and hands-on: first you watch someone experienced, then you run things with them watching you, and we build your confidence from there.

Vineyard25 supporting people in the local community.

Midweek, outreach & compassion

Put practical love into action beyond Sunday.

There are lots of ways to get involved beyond our Sunday gatherings, from practical support in our local communities to work further afield.

That includes ministries such as Olive Branch — including the Community Café, Growbaby and our links with Crowthorne Foodbank — as well as ZOE Zambia and other midweek or outreach opportunities.

The roles are varied, so the best starting point is to explore what is already happening and then get in touch if something interests you.

Not sure where you fit?

That’s completely fine. Tell us what you enjoy, what you’re good at or what you’d like to try, and we’ll help you find somewhere to start.
