Church isn't just for adults!
Kingdom Kids is a place to play, make friends, worship, hear Bible stories and grow in faith together.
Kids are part of church too
Kingdom Kids isn’t simply childcare while the adults are in church. We want children to have fun, build friendships and discover for themselves what it means to know and follow Jesus.
In the Vineyard we say “Everybody gets to play”. That includes our children — learning to pray, worship, hear from God and experience the Holy Spirit in ways that are natural for them.
What does a Sunday look like?
Here’s what happens when you arrive.
Check in
Check-in opens at 10:55am outside the children’s rooms.
Take a buzzer
We’ll give you a buzzer when you check your child in.
We’ll call if needed
If your child needs you — including help with the toilet — we’ll buzz you.
Pick up
When the service finishes, bring the buzzer back and exchange it for your child.
We don’t serve snacks in Kingdom Kids, but children are welcome to enjoy the drinks and snacks available before groups get started.
Kingdom Kids at Crowthorne
We have different spaces for different ages, helping children settle in and enjoy church at their own level.
Creche
Babies and under 2s
A relaxed stay-and-play space with plenty of toys, room to explore, a live stream of the main service and a nappy-changing station. It’s also a nice place for young families to spend time together.
Preschool
Age 2 until starting school
There’s lots of time for play and crafts, alongside reading the Bible, learning to pray and singing and dancing along to worship music.

Primary-age kids
At Crowthorne, primary-age children have their own Sunday service.
They start by settling into small groups with games like UNO, colouring and time with their leaders.
Then they come together for notices, a Bible talk and live worship, with plenty of movement breaks and fun along the way.
It’s a full kids’ service designed especially for them, rather than a smaller version of the adult gathering.

Kingdom Kids at Sandhurst
Children from age 2 to Year 6 meet together.
The children meet in the gym and rotate around different zones, with time for play, colouring and other activities.
They also come together for a Bible story and worship with fun songs.
Supporting every child
If there’s anything that would help your child feel comfortable or join in, we’d love to know.
Additional support
Some children need additional support to access and meaningfully engage with our groups. Get in touch before your visit and we can connect you with Imogen to talk through what would help.
Safeguarding
Our Kids team have been through the DBS process and we take safeguarding seriously. Amy Metcalf is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Debbie Moscardini is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
